Mimosa pudica

Mimosa pudica is a widely known plant for its sensitivity to touch. After touching, the leaf is folded, which is preceded by the propagation of the action potential in the petiole. However, in addition to this spectacular well-visible movement, we can observe that the young mimosa leaves perform oscillatory movements when the technique of time-lapse photography is used.
